What is your product and who is it for?

Our product is aimed at people worldwide who would like to take a stand against climate change and to make a difference no matter how big or small, using the tools we provide, as Small changes can make a Big difference.

What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?

We as a team have come to know the cause of climate change and that is: carbon emissions. This inspired us to create an app that can track carbon emissions and show how carbon footprint could be decreased. We wanted something that anyone could do at home, because we believe that Small changes can make a Big difference.

How does your product solve the problem?

By using our app it will now give people the power to make a change with some of our most important features like Challenges, Carbon Tracker and Carbon Emissions. There will also be features such as Leaderboards to keep the user engaged in our app.

How does it work?

Firstly, to use our app you will be invited to the login page, where you could sign in with a variety of choices including Google and Facebook, or you could create an account with us. Secondly, you will be taken to the home page, where you could go to some of our unique and life-changing features like Reminders, challenges, Barcode-scanner and to check your carbon emissions.

What is the biggest challenge you faced when creating your app?

Our biggest challenge was that we could not further develop our app on App Lab and with some research we found out that some of our ideas had already been used or made into apps, so we had to get some ideas that were unused and original.

Why should your product be the Judge's Favourite and why should people vote for you in the People’s Choice Award?

Our app idea will help people live a healthier lifestyle and will also save people money, as the bills are significantly rising. We aim for our app to become a daily ritual in everyone's lives.
