What is your product and who is it for?
Our product is designed to help people who are suicidal to get out of the blue, as blue is typically a colour linked to sadness and depression.
What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?
Scrolling through YouTube and other social media platforms, we saw lots of videos of people talking about their emotions and being depressed, lonely, having anxiety and overall feeling horrible. This was not an issue that was talked about enough and as such we thought we would try and help as many people as possible.
How does your product solve the problem?
It brings people out of the blue zone and offers different solutions and support with helplines, tips, tricks and medicine. It will help people to eventually feel better about themselves and maybe even break bad habits.
How does it work?
The app has anonymous calling, texting, a diary page to vent your emotions, calming music for people with anxiety, a game to provide distraction and the ability to locate local therapy centres.
