What is your product and who is it for?
Our app is for people worldwide who are generally overwhelmed by everyday tasks and not feeling motivated to complete them. In our research we found that in 2018, 74% of people felt so stressed they couldn't cope. Our app helps to make users more positive and happy. Our app gives users a daily checklist of tasks they may struggle with, all while taking care of their virtual pet. We have a happy scale that you can move up or down depending on your mood. Based on your mood, our program will give inspirational quotes to help motivate you.
What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?
In our local area, there are quite a lot of people who are overwhelmed and generally upset. We feel our app could benefit the people so they have an overall better mood and look forward to their day.
How does your product solve the problem?
More than 1 in 7 adults in the UK say their mental health is currently either bad or the worst it's ever been. Our app creates a routine for the user that helps with doing tasks they struggle with, while giving coping strategies and motivational quotes.
How does it work?
You start with your virtual pet. You take care of them while taking care of yourself. There are checklists to complete, with each checklist boosting your duck. Even checking in for 10 minutes a day helps with your QuackSaver journey.
