What is your product and who is it for?

A.I assisted exam revision mobile application that is built for students to use to accelerate their exam preparation for various literal subjects, as well as for teachers to efficiently provide their students with accurate revision questions for preparing their classes.

What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?

I was inspired by my struggles and the hardships of my peers. Students would spend countless hours trying to memorize material in order to pass an exam, only to forget it a week later, as they did not gain a deep understanding of the topic revised, but simply crammed information.

How does your product solve the problem?

The user is logged in securely, and then clicks a button that can select multiple images of their handwritten and printed text notes, and, after waiting for a short period, are prompted with a flashcard deck containing WH-style and Gap-filled queries that can be saved for offline use. The product solves the problem of inefficient exam revision, as well as autonomous flashcard generation, as the model is trained to create useful questions, as well as remove the manual labour required for typing out flashcard questions and answers, saving time and effort for the user.

Why should your product win its category and why should people vote for you in the People’s Choice Award?

I believe that my product solves a real-world need, and can positively impact the lives of many students and teachers. My product is designed for students, by students, and is a novel method that students can add to their revision arsenal when preparing for tough exams.
